The Ovarian Cancer Canada Speaker Series features experts from across the country discussing a wide range of topics for women living with ovarian cancer and their families and friends.

On September 22 at 7:00 pm ET, attend “Living with resilience in the face of uncertainty” with Roy Ellis, a therapist, speaker, and author from Halifax, Nova Scotia.

The experience of cancer diagnosis, treatment and recovery can be fraught with anxiety and emotional uncertainty. Although positivity and a good mindset can help ride the emotional rollercoaster, these alone are not sufficient to give our life meaning, purpose and some degree of safety.

This webinar will introduce the idea of the resilient heart---a way of being present to pain and anxiety of diagnosis that embraces deepening of relationships, understands our inner workings, and seeks wise and welcoming approaches to difficult emotional experiences.

This free event will be hosted on Zoom. A question-and-answer period will follow the presentation. You can submit your questions in advance to speakerseries@ovariancanada.org.
