2019 Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope in Calgary, Alberta

In Canada today, there are 17,000 women living with ovarian cancer. (that's 17,000 too many in our opinion) Each of these women is central to a family, every one of these women have people who love her. This year, our team is walking for JEAN DERBYSHIRE.  We walk with gratitude as YAYA is a Survivor!

Jean is a Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Niece, Cousin and Friend and is loved by all who love her.  She is Determined and Tenacious as she walks this journey and inspires us all.

We are walking because ovarian cancer affects families and communities. Recently it has touched our family and community, and we need to stop it.

When a loved one receives their diagnosis it leaves us all wanting to help - NEEDING to help. Everybody wants to do all they can in any way they can to help and support their loved one.

We all stand together and walk this Journey Towards Wellness beside Jean on a daily basis and we are thrilled to now stand united in support of others through this years Walk of Hope.

This walk is special to our team because it honours women and families touched by ovarian cancer and celebrates the hope that we carry with us every day – the hope for a future without this disease.

Every dollar our team raises supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity entirely dedicated to this important cause. Funds will be used to provide support, increase awareness and fund vital research.

Please support our National team with your donation. (The love for Jean is so far reaching and so strong that our team will be participating in multiple locations including Calgary and Vancouver.)

Together we can make a difference. LOVE and FAITH and UNITED FRONTS make Miracles Happen!
