A proud and Grateful Daughter proud to Walk for Hope - YEAR 5
In Canada today, there are 17,000 women living with ovarian cancer. That's 17,000 too many.
Four years ago my Mom was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. Although I walk beside her each step along the way there is an overwhelming feeling of helplessness when someone you love is facing such a difficult Journey to Wellness.
This Walk of Hope allows me (and our entire family) the opportunity to feel a wee bit less helpless. InGratitude of my Moms incredible outcome we continue to walk for all the HER'S who are beginning their journey of healing and in soladarity for all their loved ones. (and in support of all who have lost the fight and are missed every day)
Our family stands united to help Mom any way that we can and now through The Walk of Hope we have the opportunity to help others too. We have walked each year since 2015 and celbrate year 5 of TeamYaya this year.
I have made my personal fund raising goal small (in fact I reached it through my personal donation) and ask that you please donate to our Team page instead of me as an individual. TEAM YAYA is STRONG We have walked each step since diagnosis as a Team and we will continue to do all things united. :)
Every dollar we raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity entirely dedicated to this important cause. Funds will be used to provide support, increase awareness and fund vital research.
Thank you for your supprot of TEAM YAYA! Together we can make Miracles Happen!
