Today, thousands of Canadian women are living with ovarian cancer and another 2,800 will be diagnosed this year.
My family has been deeply affected by Ovarian Cancer. We have been blessed with awareness and have educated ourselves on the signs, symptoms, treatment and preventative measures associated with Ovarian Cancer - but many women are living in the dark. Knowledge is power, and that is why I am participating in the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope. We need to protect and support our mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, friends, and grandmothers. Every dollar I raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity entirely dedicated to this important cause. Funds will be used to provide support, increase awareness, and fund vital research so that we can change the future for the women we love.
Donate, Walk, Volunteer, Spread the word - these seemingly small actions can make a world of difference in someone's life.
