My Reason to Walk
Today, thousands of Canadian women are living with ovarian cancer and another 2,800 will be diagnosed this year.
Each of these women is central to a family. Every one of these women has people who love her. Just being there to support and honour her means everything. One of these women is my big sister. That’s why I’m participating with thousands of others at the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope.
In the fall of 2018, my family was given some of the worst news we could imagine. Candice had been diagnosed with cancer. There have been numerous obstacles and hardships that she has been handed througout this journey, and yet she has not given up hope. While she continues to fight, she has never ceased to amaze all of us with her courage, positivity, and strength. She has always approached life's most challenging moments with confidence and determination and this situation has been no different.
Please support her fight, as well as the other thousands of women by making a donation of any amount. Better yet, if you are up for a challenge this September, come out and join me. Together we can make a difference.
