Hey there friends and family!
Today, thousands of Canadian women are living with ovarian cancer and another 2,800 will be diagnosed this year - including either yourself or someone around you.
Each of these women is central to a family. Every one of these women has people who love her. Just being there to support and honour her means everything. That’s why I’m participating with thousands of others at the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope. The woman in my life that has been impacted by this is my dance company - Barrie location/studio owner - Wendy. Even though I've only known her for a few short months, I can see how much this has impacted her but also how much love and support she has recieved from her Army of Sass family. As of Spring 2019, she is CANCER FREE!! Woot Woot!
The Walk celebrates the hope I carry with me every day – the hope for a future without this disease. Which is why I will be participating with my Army of Sass Barrie Family in the Barrie Ovarian Cancer Walk of Hope. In typical Army of Sass style, we will be doing to walk in our heels!
Funds will be used to fund vital research, spur advocacy efforts, and provide support so that we can help women with, or at risk of, ovarian cancer live fuller, better, longer lives. Every little bit counts, so please help myself and others across Canada reach our goal of finding a cure for this Cancer. Better yet, if you are up for a challenge this September, come out and join me too! Together we can make a difference.
You can donate here on my personal page by following the link "Donate Now", or in person with myself by either cash, credit or cheque.
Thank you so much xoxo
