Gone in a Flash
As you all know, I had to undergo treatment and surgery for Ovarian Cancer. I have to say that it was one of the scariest times of my life. It was a diagnosis that I never would have thought that I'd receive. Everyday, 5 Canadian women die from this disease due to lack of funding. Your donation goes directly to funding research in Canada.
Receiving a diagnosis of Ovarian Cancer does not mean that your life is over. While I continue to battle everyday, I'm finding a new me. I live every day to the fullest and I have alot of years ahead of me.
Today, I live with Ovarian Cancer. However, I don't just survive, I THRIVE. The reason that I thrive is because of the programs that I'm able to access that are available through donations like yours.
If you think that this is a disease that can't touch a woman that you love, think again. I was only 39 years old when I was diagnosed. I'm lucky enough to have had an amazing support circle around me and that's how I make it through.
Please help Adam and I, team Gone in a Flash, reach our fundraising goal and to take that small step closer to a world without cancer.
Thank you, Everyone!
