For my Sister
My sister AMY, was diagnosed with Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer. She continues to brave her way through this fight and we are beyond grateful that she continues to find the strength and determination to keep the fight up every single day. The support and medical process was amazing and could not be done without walks such as the walk of Hope. All three of us "sisters" will be walking in two different provinces, for HER again this year to continue to raise the awareness that this can be beat! If you are up for a challenge this September, come out and walk with me. Together we can make a difference.
Today, thousands of Canadian women are living with ovarian cancer and another 2,800 will be diagnosed this year.
Each of these women is central to a family. Every one of these women has people who love her. Just being there to support and honor her means everything. That’s why our team is rallying with the community at the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope.
The Walk celebrates the hope we carry with us every day – the hope for a future without this disease.
Every dollar we raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity entirely dedicated to this important cause. Funds will be used to provide support, increase awareness, and fund vital research so that we can change the future for the women we love.
