Somehow I don't know where to start this. It has been 13 years since I have looked into her beautiful eyes and heard your soothing voice. It sounds so long ago, yet it seems like yesterday.
Marilyn Cybulski was a wonderful, caring, loving Mother, Daughter, Wife, Friend.
Sadly in October 2006 she was diagnosed with stage 4 inoperable aggressive ovarian cancer. She fought a hard painful battle and crossed over 2 short months later on December 18th 2006. Simply taken to soon.
Her legacy, love and guidance still lIves on. It lives on through everyone's lives that she touched. It also lives on through her Grandchildren she was never able to meet.
Everyday she is with me. She is my strength. Before she passed she said anytime I want to see her and talk to her to look up into the sky at night and she will be a star shining down on me.
So on September 8th she will be walking beside me to support those who have fought the battle and are survivors, those who are fighting the battle, and those who have sadly passed.
I am inviting you to join me in this walk or to kindly donate towards research on Ovarian Cancer.
We will have T-shirts made with her picture on it. As well as wearing an angel pin ( she pinned them to her cancer blanket that she brought to all of her chemotherapy treatments).
Ovarian Cancer is a terrible disesse. It not only effected her. It effects thousands every year.
The Walk celebrates the hope I carry with me every day – the hope for a future without this disease.
Every dollar I raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity that champions the health and well-being of women with ovarian cancer and others at risk of this disease. Funds will be used to fund vital research, spur advocacy efforts, and provide support so that we can help women with, or at risk of, ovarian cancer live fuller, better lives.
