Our Team Sue's Crew on September 8/2019 will be lacing up and walking the pathways of Glenmore Park Calgary to support The Ovarian Cancer Walk of Hope. So happy this year my daughter in-law Leah Kirk will be joining again and her daughter Ayla Kirk. Ayla my Grand Daughter walked at the age 6yrs along side of us in the 2018 Ovarian Walk of Hope Calgary and again will be walking with our Team Sue’s Crew so proud of her. We are walking for Supporting the Fighters,Admiring the Survivors,Honoring the Taken and never giving up Hope. Thousand of Canadian women are living with Ovarian Cancer and another 2,800 will be diagnosed this year.
That's why our team is participating with thousands of others at the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope Calgary. There is no early detection tests for Ovarian Cancer. Until there is a test, the key to early diagnosis is awarness.
The Walk is special for me as I was detected in 2013 with Ovarian Cancer and January 18/2014 was clear and cancer free. I am now at the 5 year Cancer Free mark. The walk celebrates the hope I carry with me every day – the hope for a future without this disease I would like to see little girls grow up in a world where Teal Ribbons are for pony tails.
Every dollar we raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity entirely dedicated to this important cause. Funds will be used to provide support, increase awareness, and fund vital research so that we can change the future for the women we love.
It would be wonderful for your support by donating. Also if you like to join us sign up with our team and walk with us September 8/2019. Together we can make a difference. Click on the Teal bar to donate for our Team Sue’s Crew or Leah Kirk or Ayla Kirk. Thanks Team Sue's Crew
