For the sixth year, the PoleWalkers for a Cure will walk along side Jennifer, an 19 year survivor, in the Ovarian Cancer Walk of Hope in Victoria, B.C. and participate in raising funds to provide support, increase awareness, and fund vital research so that we can change the future for the women we love.

The Walk raises money for Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity entirely dedicated to overcoming this disease. Thousands of Canadian women are currently living with Ovarian Cancer and 2,800 more will be diagnosed this year. Every day we lose 5 Canadian women to ovarian cancer. It is high time to affect change.

We know there will be challenges this year as we all adjust to a new normal under the restrictions of the Covid 19 pandemic. Imagine adding to the turmoil of being told you have ovarian cancer.
