Welcome to My Personal Page
Today, thousands of Canadian women are living with ovarian cancer and another 3,100 will be diagnosed this year. Each of these women is central to a family. Every one of these women has people who love her. That’s why I’m joining the thousands of other participants at the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope on September 12th.
I'm walking in memory of my late sister Donna. She was extroverted and bubbly with a quick wit. Donna wasn't just the life of the party.. she was the party. She lost her two-year battle with ovarian cancer in May 2019 at age 66. Losing her felt like a shotgun blast to my heart.
Every dollar I raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity that champions the health and well-being of women with ovarian cancer. Funds will be used to fund vital research, spur advocacy efforts, and provide support so that we can help women with ovarian cancer live fuller, better, longer lives.
Please consider making a donation to help me reach my goal of $500.
