Thank you for your support and Love
I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer, June of 2019. Through multiple scans the doctors were able to locate exactly where the cancer had spread and was contained. July 25, 2019 I had a full Hysterectomy, Bilateral Saplingo-oophorectomy and debulking. I received 6 rounds of chemotherapy to make sure that all the cancer was eradicated.
My diagnosis and treatment was a hellish rollercoaster! No one ever wants to hear those the words “I’m sorry you have cancer”. I managed and I still manage to stay positive and live my life to the fullest, we never know when will be our last day on this earth.
The Walk of Hope celebrates the hope I carry with me every day – the hope for a future without this disease.
Every dollar I raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity that champions the health and well-being of women with ovarian cancer and others at risk of this disease. Funds will be used to fund vital research, spur advocacy efforts, and provide support so that we can help women with, or at risk of, ovarian cancer live fuller, better, longer lives.
Please provide your support by giving generously. Better yet, if you are up for a challenge this September, come out and join me. Together we can make a difference.
