Are you ready for the 2023 Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope in Montréal?

It’s time to pick up the pace for ovarian cancer! Join the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope, the largest and most powerful event of its kind in the country. The Walk is happening in communities across the country in-person and virtually Sunday, September 10, 2023.

Together, let’s make ovarian cancer a priority and fundraise to improve outcomes for Canadians living with and at risk of the disease.

8:30 a.m. Registration and Networking
  • Coffee and snacks available, courtesy of Tim Hortons and Maxi Angrignon
  • Visit the family and dog zone, the Teal sisters’ tent and get to know other members of the community
  • Sign the message board and tell us who you're walking for and with
  • Take photos with our teal balloon arch and post on social media, don’t forget to tag #Randonneedelespoir @CancerdelovaireCanada
  • Get a tattoo of a teal ribbon at the Ovarian Cancer Canada information tent and learn more about our mission and services

  • Welcome from Ovarian Cancer Canada and the 2023 Montreal Walk of Hope organizing committee
  • From the lens of ovarian cancer research, by Dr. Anne-Marie Mes-Masson
  • Tribute to honour the women we have lost to ovarian cancer (balloon release)
  • The importance of collective action, by Dr. Susie Lau
  • Celebration of women living with ovarian cancer and guided warm-up led by Jeanne Mudie, a teal sister

10:05 a.m.      Walk Kick-off: Start of the 3km Walk of Hope route

A few things to keep in mind:

Public transit is encouraged, as the Walk site is just a few minutes from the Angrignon metro station. Paid parking is available, at a cost of $15 for the day.

You are welcome to bring your own chair or blanket.
