Walk Date: Sunday, September 11, 2022 

The Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope is the largest and most powerful event of its kind in the country. The Walk is happening in communities across the country both in-person and online Sunday, September 11, 2022.

Together, let’s walk with hope in our hearts and lead the way towards a brighter future for those living with and at risk of ovarian cancer.

Location: Nicholls Oval Park (725 Armour Road)

10:00am: Welcome and Check in

11:00am: Opening Ceremony 

11:30am: Walk/Run Begins

Can’t find an in-person of virtual Walk location near you? Choose ‘Virtual’ as your location and join us from wherever you are.

Musical entertainment will be provided. Please join the Peterborough / Kawartha Lakes Facebook page to keep updated on special things happening that day. The event is Rain or Shine! Remember to dress for the weather, bring an umbrella and sunscreen.

Please note that due to Covid-19 we will not be providing refreshments so please bring your favourite beverages and snacks with you.

Although there are no mandates for masks, we are encouraging everyone to please wear one, especially because some of our participants may be undergoing treatments and be medically vulnerable.

Prizes will be given to the top fundraisers along with other unrevealed prizes to be given away! Dogs are welcome if on a leash and owners must follow all city and park regulations. Additionally, parking can be found on adjacent streets.
