The Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope is the largest and most powerful event of its kind in the country. The Walk is happening in communities across the country both in-person and online Sunday, September 11, 2022.
Together, let’s walk with hope in our hearts and lead the way towards a brighter future for those living with and at risk of ovarian cancer.
Location: Queen Elizabeth Park (Meeting area: Cambie Street & 33rd Ave)
9:00am: Arrivals and Welcome
10:00am: Opening Ceremonies
10:15am: Walk/Run Begins
11:30am: Thank you
Ready to walk?
First, choose how you’ll be joining us. Select "In-Person" or "Virtual", and then choose a Walk location.
Can’t find an in-person of virtual Walk location near you? Choose ‘Virtual’ as your location and join us from wherever you are.
The event is Rain or Shine! Remember to dress for the weather, bring an umbrella, beverages, sunscreen, and snacks. We will have light refreshments available, but a hot lunch will not be provided on site. Please feel free to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy the park following the Walk!
