Dear Friends:

I've postponed this long enough, thinking I would get in shape to do the walk this year and lose some COVID-lounging weight. Well that won't happen but I am still doing the walk!  Again, it is a "virtual one" but I plan to go around the Museum of Nature on the 12th of September. I discovered only 9 rounds makes up 5K but will do the extra one just to make it 10 rounds. Hopefully, this year it won't be raining!

I am walking in memory of Margie Gass, a remarkable woman who left this life WAY too early. Margie was a Foreign Service officer who travelled around the world and raised three children with her husband. She had boundless energy and wonderful artistic ability as well as a kind heart. She worked tirelessly on behalf of Ovarian Cancer Canada in the Maritimes, even when she knew a cure would not come in time for her.
