Today, thousands of Canadian women are living with ovarian cancer and another 2,800 will be diagnosed this year.
My friend Andrea was one of those women in 2020.
And is why I am participating in my third Ovarian Cancer Walk of Hope this September 11th.
As part of team Teal Good Inc., we've raised just over $27,500 since 2020 and we are back! Every dollar we raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada. These funds support vital research, spur advocacy efforts, and provide support to help women with, or at risk of, ovarian cancer live fuller, better, longer lives.
This year's walk once again falls close to my birthday and would ask that in lieu of birthday wishes, my friends and family consider a donation to support Teal Good Inc. and to stop this silent killer in its tracks
