Welcome to "Christa My Sista" Robin's page
My Sister Christa was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2019. She is still battling this disease today but She is strong and a fighter. Her journey has had some ups and downs however, Her Faith, Positivity and Strength inspire me everyday. Hope Lives Here. We cherish every day that we have to make memories, laugh, have fun and spend time together.
I have a goal to raise $1000 for Ovarian Cancer Canada. I hope you can give generously to help meet this goal. Every little bit helps. Join us in the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope.
This is my sister’s story

Team Christa My Sister
In March 2019 my life completely changed when I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. That spring and fall I went through chemotherapy treatments and surgery. In March 2020 the cancer reoccurred. Since then I have been in and out of chemo treatments and continue to live with this disease today. It’s been an ongoing journey with lots of ups and downs but life is good. I am grateful for the treatments that I have been able to receive and I hope that one day there will be a cure. Thank you to my family and friends who have supported me through this journey especially my husband Dan.
Today, thousands of Canadian women are living with ovarian cancer and another 2,800 will be diagnosed this year.
Each of these women is central to a family. Every one of these women has people who love her. Just being there to support and honour her means everything. That’s why I’m participating with thousands of others at the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope.
The Walk celebrates the hope I carry with me every day – the hope for a future without this disease.
Every dollar I raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity that champions the health and well-being of women with ovarian cancer and others at risk of this disease. Funds will be used to fund vital research, spur advocacy efforts, and provide support so that we can help women with, or at risk of, ovarian cancer live fuller, better, longer lives.
Please provide your support by giving generously. Together we can make a difference.
