Lorraine Tracey, my mother, a wife, a nana, a sister, a mother-in-law, a friend, a beautiful and formidable woman. She danced her last dance with Ovarian Cancer and died on March 9, 2020. She found great support and courage from her Teal sisters and her cancer care team.
I am walking in the Ovarian Cancer Walk of Hope in memory of my mother's courage, relentless hope, and positivity. My team is joining thousands of other participants in support of every woman and family who is effected by Ovarian Cancer and to spread hope.
Every dollar I raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity that champions the health and well-being of women with ovarian cancer and others at risk of this disease. Funds will be used to fund vital research, spur advocacy efforts, and provide support so that we can help women with, or at risk of, ovarian cancer live fuller, better, longer lives.
Please give generously. Better yet, this year’s Walk will happen in communities large and small, all across Canada. It is a virtual event and you can join me! Together we can make a difference.
