We are walking again on Sunday, September 11th in honour of our Mom, Ruth Louie. We will be walking in Port Stanley again. Please let me know if you would like walk with us!

Ruth’s Girls Walk for Awareness

Our mom Ruth was diagnosed November 18, 2020 and she died December 2, 2020. We did not even have her biopsy results back, she did not even get a chance to fight. This needs to end!

Before Mom’s diagnosis, I did not know that Pap tests DO NOT detect Ovarian Cancer. Symptoms include bloating, difficulty eating, abdominal discomfort, and changes in urinary habits. I also found out that the average age a women is diagnosed is 63, the exact age mom was.
