Road to Remission
Today, thousands of Canadian women are living with ovarian cancer and over 3,000 more will be diagnosed this year. The COVID-19 pandemic has not changed the fact that ovarian cancer research is significantly underfunded and that more has to be done to develop better treatments. Scientific progress in the field has been agonizingly slow, more than half of women who are diagnosed with ovarian cancer still die within five years.
Every one of these women has people who love her. Just being able to support and honour them means everything to us. That’s why, our team is participating once again in the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope. We're happy that this year's Walk of Hope will once again be in person. The 2022 walk will be special, The event always celebrates the hope we carry with us every day – the hope for a future without this disease.
Every dollar we raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity that champions the health and well-being of women with ovarian cancer and others at risk of this disease. Funds will be used to fund vital research, spur advocacy efforts, and provide support so that we can change the future and help women live fuller, better, longer lives.
Please provide your support by giving generously. Together we can make a difference.
