Thank you for your support!
Thank you for your support!

Della and the Teal-ers

This walk is a personal crusade for me. I myself am a Survivor of Ovarian Cancer and my way of giving back and supporting all the women that

are still fighting is to join in the walk and raise as much as I can to help with research and support.

My team being my Husband Neil, my Daughter Cassandra, My Son Kristian, my Mom Carol, Mary and my amazing girlfriend Judy and I are raising funds towards the walk and are reaching out for donations.

Thank you in advance for your kindness.

Here's my story.

My fight started in December of 2016 when I was first diagnosed. February of 2017, a major surgery, then 6 - 3 week cycles of Chemo.

My last chemo was the end of July 2017 and I am doing well. I owe my health and my life to the research that is constantly on going.

With faith and perseverance I will continue to do so.

Today, thousands of Canadian women are living with ovarian cancer and another 2,800 will be diagnosed this year.

Each of these women is central to a family. Every one of these women has people who love her. Just being there to support and honor her means everything. That’s why I’m participating with thousands of others at the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope.

The Walk celebrates the hope I carry with me every day – the hope for a future without this disease.

Every dollar I raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity entirely dedicated to this important cause. Funds will be used to provide support, increase awareness, and fund vital research so that we can change the future for the women we love.

Any amount no matter how big or small will help to make a difference towards research.

Please provide your support by giving generously. Better yet, if you are up for a challenge this September, come out and join me. Together we can make a difference.
