2019 marks the seventh appearance for Nonna's Little Culos which was started in memory of my Nonna, Violet Vitale.

Nonna was no doubt one of the smartest and strongest women I've ever known.  She encountered many obstacles along the way to becoming an executive in a company at a time when most women did not work.  She fought many battles in her 80 years, losing only one - which is the one she lost on January 14, 2013 and the reason for the creation of this team.

Nonna had a great love for her family and friends which is why this team has been successful in the past.   With the help of family and friends, Nonna's Little Culos has raised more than $4000 for Ovarian Cancer research since 2013.   This team will continue until a cure is found for this horrible disease.

Please feel free to join my family and I on Sunday, September 8, 2019 as we again walk for Nonna.  This walk will take place at 10:00 at the Vollmer Complex in Lasalle.    Any donations would be greatly appreciated as well.   Let's raise some money towards Ovarian Cancer research so that one day, this walk will no longer be necessary.
