Since hearing the words "you have ovarian cancer", I've been sharing my story as much as possible (perhaps a little too much sometimes!). As the symptoms of this horrible disease are so vague and can be attributed to many other things, it's important to keep the conversation going. 

Today, thousands of Canadians are living with ovarian cancer and approximately 3,000 will be diagnosed this year. It’s time to pick up the pace for ovarian cancer. Enough is enough and I’m determined to improve outcomes for all those individuals who, like me, are affected by the disease.

 

By becoming a patient partner with Ovarian Cancer Canada, and participating in, and fundraising for, the Walk of Hope, I’m making ovarian cancer a priority. Through my efforts I'm funding vital research that will save lives, ensuring educational resources and support programs are available for those who need it, and fueling advocacy efforts because everyone deserves to live life to the fullest.

 

Every dollar I raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity dedicated to overcoming this disease.
