So for the 10th year I will be walking along side my friends, supporters and team, the PoleWalkers for a Cure, proudly for all women and families affected by ovarian cancer.

I have been cancer free for 22 years now. I feel so fortunate to have the continuing support of so many. I know the importance of giving back and try in my small way to change and save the lives of women. I know first hand the effect ovarian cancer can have on us, our families and our friends.

The Walk celebrates the hope I carry with me every day – the hope for a future without this disease, the hope that young girls and women, like my nieces, do not live in fear of this disease!

I'm walking to raise awareness; I’m walking to raise valuable funds  needed to support women living with cancer, to fund research into early detection and improved treatments for women so we can all live long and healthy lives. I’m walking so women recently diagnosed and living with ovarian cancer know they are not alone. 

Thank you for your support. It means the world to me, and everyone affected by this disease.
