2023 Walk - Vancouver and Lower Mainland, BC

In Loving Memory of Elly Mayday
In Loving Memory of Elly Mayday

Mayday

We lost our dear friend, Ashley Luther, in March of 2019 to Ovarian Cancer. This disease is something she was not quiet about. Ashley was a magnetic force to be reckoned with. Everywhere she went, people were drawn to her. Through her platform of Elly Mayday, hundreds of thousands of people heard her message. We continue to advocate on her behalf.

Today, thousands of Canadian women are living with ovarian cancer and another 2,800 will be diagnosed this year. Each and every one of these woman are central to a family. Every one of these women have people who love her. Just being there to support and honour her means everything. That's why out team is participating with the thousands of others at the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope.

The Walk celebrates the hope we carry with us every day - the hope for a future without this disease.

Every dollar we raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity that champions the health and well-being of those with ovarian cancer and others at risk of this disease. Funds are used to fund vital research, spur advocacy efforts, and provide support so that we can change the future and help women live fuller, better, longer lives.

Please provide your support by giving generously. Better yet, if you are up for a challenge this September, come out and join us! Together we can make a difference.
