Welcome to Les's Personal Page. Today thousands of Canadians are living with ovarian cancer and approximately 3,100 will be diagnosed this year. My wife was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in June 2021. She did her 6 months of treatment and had surgery in January 2022. Less than a week after surgery, she developed a vicious infection that was introduced to her body during the surgery. In 28 hours, she had left our world. After reading more about the disease, she had symptoms of ovarian cancer for 4 or 5 years at least. She had been misdiagnosed and brushed off, leaving the disease to grow. My wife was a warrior, ready for battle. Her fight got cut short. I'm joining the fight for her now to raise money to help other women who can have a fighting chance. Every step and every dollar create a brighter future for those affected with ovarian cancer. Please consider donating to my Walk or register to join me! Thank you for your support, it means the world to me, and everyone affected by the disease.
