Ovarian Cancer is the most fatal women’s cancer in Canada, half of those diagnosed do not live to see another 5 years. Treatments and outcomes have not changed significantly in 50 years due to research funding lagging far behind other cancers.

Ovarian Cancer Canada is working to finally change that. This organization has been a significant part of my grandmother Helen Martin’s life and my family’s lives for many years. And in the past several months it has become even more significant to me as I’ve been working at OCC.
