Thousands of Canadian women are living with ovarian cancer, and another 2,800 will be diagnosed this year. 

In February of 2020, Andrea became one of them.

What began as a routine physical turned into a dizzying spiral of tests, ultrasounds, CT scans, and finally, a total hysterectomy, appendectomy, and the removal of a cancerous ovarian mass roughly the size of a football.

At the time, Andrea was barely 42, and an energetic healthy mom to a 4yr old. Her shocking and sudden diagnosis was surreal, but as we learned, an all-too-common story.

Andrea's diagnosis, Stage 1 ovarian cancer, is very rare given there is no screening test for ovarian cancer, and it often goes undetected until its later, less-treatable stages. But we can change that. We have to! 

Our Team - Teal Good Inc. - is walking for all women with ovarian cancer, those in treatment, and the families affected by this disease who relentlessly rise to challenge after challenge. They deserve our support -- and so much more. 

We've raised just over $44,000 since 2020 and we are back! Every dollar we raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada. These funds support vital research, spur advocacy efforts, and provide support to help women with, or at risk of, ovarian cancer live fuller, better, and longer lives.
