Tambre Persson Family

On September 10th, our family is walking in the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope in honour of our sister/aunt/great aunt Lauren and our mother/grandmother/great grandmother Sarah Velma Peebles Tambre.

Lauren was diagnosed with High Grade Serous Cell Carcinoma in July of 2022 and for the next 8 months went through many tests, surgery, chemotherapy, drug therapy and everything else imaginable. Thankfully Lauren is on a three month re-call and she is starting to rebuild her health. We are so grateful.

We are also walking in memory of our mother/grandmother/great grandmother Sarah Velma Peebles Tambre, who passed in 1975 due to complications with Ovarian Cancer.

Today, thousands of Canadians are living with ovarian cancer and approximately 3,000 will be diagnosed this year.

By participating and fundraising for the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope, we will help forward the vital research that will save lives, ensuring educational resources and support programs are available for those who need it, and fueling advocacy efforts because everyone deserves to live life to the fullest.

Every dollar raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity dedicated to overcoming this disease.

Join us in the walk or show your support by donating. It means the world to us and everyone affected by this disease.
