The Walk celebrates the hope we carry with us every day – the hope for a future without this disease.

This year, the Queen's Ovarian Cancer Club is helping organize and participating in the Walk of Hope. Alongside the club, we are a team of passionate ovarian cancer researchers, students, and physicians working in the Kingston area looking forward in taking part in the walk this year. Hearing patient stories and seeing the participation in the Walk of Hope every year motivates us to continue working hard in our research labs to expand our current knowledge in ovarian cancer.

We are excited to participate in our first in-person Walk of Hope this year and meet others in the ovarian cancer community in Kingston.

Every dollar our team raises supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity that champions the health and well-being of women with ovarian cancer and others at risk of this disease. Funds will be used to fund vital research, spur advocacy efforts, and provide support so that we can help women with, or at risk of, ovarian cancer live fuller, better, longer lives.
