About the Sue Deacon Cup
The Sue Deacon Cup, was founded in 2014 by Sue's family and friends. A way to remember her by doing what she loved the most - playing hockey at Bill Bolton Arena. The amount of support was amazing and an annual tradition was born.

This year in Canada, 3,100 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer and half will not survive past five years. In 2016, the Sue Deacon Cup Committee and Ovarian Cancer Canada created the Sue Deacon Ovarian Cancer Research Fund to help improve the outcomes for those women. All proceeds will go directly into the fund where researchers are working to ensure that women with ovarian cancer and all women at risk of the disease live fuller, better, longer lives.
