Lucy and Hannah discovered that the Pantene Beautiful Lengths program, which takes donated hair and makes it into wigs for cancer patients, was ending on December 31st this year. The decision to donate was one Lucy had been contemplating for years and it was now or never. Hannah joined Lucy for moral support and both took the big, bold step to have it all cut off!

Having learned that ovarian cancer is the most serious cancer for women and that there is currently no reliable screening test, the girls decided that they would use their shorn heads to raise awareness and raise funds for ovarian cancer research.

Every dollar Hannah and Lucy raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity entirely dedicated to this important cause. Funds will be used to provide support, increase awareness and fund vital research.
