Our Ride Leader Bianca Hayes currently holds the title of fastest female, but is going for all the glory as fastest female as recorded by the Guinness World Record in her second attempt this year. More than that, she has a deep and powerful story of how she came to this place where she is, inspired by the tragedy of losing her sister Katrina to ovarian cancer. Read more about Bianca here → https://www.biancahayes.com/about-me
In 2022 Bianca will ride from Vancouver's City Hall to Halifax City Hall, crossing the country and 5713 kms over 15 days. The Last Drop is proud to support Bianca and raise awareness for Ovarian Cancer research to save the lives of more women like Katrina. Bianca runs our regular zone 2 sessions for endurance riding. Come out for a spin and meet this world class athlete!
About the cause
Today, thousands of Canadian women are living with ovarian cancer and another 3,100 will be diagnosed this year.
Each of these women is central to a family. Every one of these women has people who love her. Just being there to support and honor her means everything. That’s why I am supporting this vital cause.
This event is special to me because it honours women and families touched by ovarian cancer and celebrates the hope that I carry with me every day – the hope for a future without this disease.
Every dollar I raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the Canadian charity championing the health and wellbeing of women with ovarian cancer and those at risk for the disease, while advancing research to save lives. Funds will help further scientific progress, advocacy efforts and support programs.
Please support this event with a generous donation. Together we can help women live fuller, better and longer lives.
