I am participating in the Beau's 5K for Ovarian Cancer Canada - 10th Anniversary event, a fundraising walk and run in support of Ovarian Cancer Canada. 

On June 8th, I will run, walk or bike to raise funds to advance progress against ovarian cancer – the most fatal women’s cancer in Canada. Funds raised at the Beau's 5K for Ovarian Cancer Canada will be used to fund vital research that can change the face of this disease, support those living with the disease, provide support and education programs and fuel advocacy efforts across the country. 

This community has rallied together every year for the past ten years in honour of Ashley Courtois (Cowan) who sadly lost her life to ovarian cancer at age 33. Ashley's family and friends, fueled by a desire to keep Ashley's legacy going, along with unwavering determination to see improved outcomes for those impacted by ovarian cancer, will be participating alongside me. Together, with Ovarian Cancer Canada, we are demanding change.
