EVENT CANCELLATION: Due to extreme weather and a hurricane watch in effect for Eastern Canada, the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope in Halifax has been cancelled. The safety of Walk participants is our top priority. On behalf of Ovarian Cancer Canada and the volunteer planning committee in Halifax, we sincerely apologize for this cancellation. We may not be able to stomp the pavement this weekend, and the Walk will not be rescheduled in Halifax, but we encourage you to walk where and when you can. This community is still determined to demand better for women affected by this disease. We encourage you to inform your team members, fellow participants and donors that we are not done yet and fundraising efforts will contribute to the overall goal of the 2019 Walk which is $2 million. Donations can still be made online.
