The Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope is the largest and most powerful event of its kind in the country. Walk your way and Walk for her.

The Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope committee in Peterborough has extended the deadline of their online silent auction until October 31, 2020. The two items up for auction are an afghan and a sunflower painting. Walk Day Schedule

9 a.m. – Head to the Facebook Event Page for your Walk and tune into the warm-up and Walk day kick-off! Videos will be shared featuring your Ovarian Cancer Canada Regional Director, committee members, Teal Sisters, and others.

10 a.m. – Lace up, don your teal with pride, and walk your route. Create posters and signs to let other people know why you’re walking! When you’re on route, take pictures and share them on social media using the official Walk hashtag #WalkofHope.

11 a.m. – The Peterborough volunteer planning committee has a special Zoom kick-off just for you. Check your email for details.

11:30 a.m. – At Crary Park, Paul Plant, Walk participant, will be kicking off a walk through the downtown area with his canoe! Meet up at the park to walk with Paul and say hello to your volunteer committee. Lace up, don your teal with pride, and walk your route. Create posters and signs to let other people know why you’re walking! When you’re on route, take pictures and share them on social media using the official Walk hashtag #WalkofHope.

2 p.m. – Zoom Wrap up with your committee including exclusive prizes just for you! Check your email for details.

3 p.m. – Tune in for the closing ceremonies on Facebook Live! These closing ceremonies will feature some familiar Walk favourites and some new additions – you'll have front row seats to exclusive musical performances, speeches, awards** and more. And there may even be a few surprises! Not on Facebook? The closing ceremonies will also be streamed on our website.
