It’s time to pick up the pace for ovarian cancer! Join the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope, the largest and most powerful event of its kind in the country. The Walk is happening in communities across the country in-person and virtually Sunday, September 10, 2023.
Together, let’s make ovarian cancer a priority and fundraise to improve outcomes for Canadians living with and at risk of the disease.

What to Expect:
Make sure to come decked out in your best teal outfit or costume. We will have prizes for best Team and Individual spirit!
We are so excited to have the STAR 98.3 $500 CASH VAULT at our event, supplying music and a chance to "Crack the Code to win $500 instantly!"
We will have some tasty pre and post Walk goodies generously provided by Mary’s Power Kitchen in Chilliwack, Cobbs Bread Chilliwack, KIND Snacks, and Save On Foods for you to fuel up with!
A special thank you to Ripples Bottled Water for supplying fresh water to keep us hydrated. Please bring your own water bottle to refill. Some paper cups will be available should anyone forget.
We will have a brief opening ceremony at 9:30am and then Mary’s Power Kitchen will lead us in a fun Warm-up to get ready for the walk around Mill Lake at 10am. Walk the trail around the lake once for a 2.5km walk or twice around the loop for a 5km walk. We will have lots of volunteers available to help direct you.
Closing Remarks and the prizes will be given out at 11am. In addition to the Spirit prizes, we will have Top Fraser Valley Individual and Team Fundraiser Prizes and many door prizes to draw for everyone attending! These prizes have been generously donated by amazing local business like All Things Being Eco, The Book Man, Button Box Boutique, Ascend Fitness, Cheam Source for Sports, Chilliwack Hospice Society Thrifty Boutique, Patricia Jaster (local Watercolour artist), Hofstede’s Country Barn, Cactus Club, The Old Spaghetti Factory, The Keg, The Axe House in Chilliwack, Chilliwack Jets Hockey, Lepp Farm Market, Meridian Meats, Inland Truck and Equipment, and Costco.
